iOS: Every wish your calendar didn’t look like a giant grid but simply showed you what to expect in the future, day by day? Logacal does just that, simply and cleanly.
While the app is incredibly minimal, you get a lot of information at a glance. Logacal colour-codes your calendars, much like other apps, but places a strip along the left side of the screen to let you know which events belong to which calendars. Large red headers indicate where you are in the calendar and how soon an event will take place. Tapping on any event will provide plenty of detail that you don’t get on the main screen.
Logacal won’t please everyone — especially with its relatively high $5.49 price tag — but it will appeal to those who like the ‘Today’ view in iOS 7’s Notification Center and wish that went on endlessly. If you crave simplicity and focused information, it’s worth a look.
