Often we don’t put much thought into storing mundane objects such as plates and cups — usually it’s enough to just stack them in a cupboard and be done with it. However, if you’d like to have a go at organising these and other typical items around the home, you could try your hand at a few of the following ideas.

David Caolo over at Unclutterer has put together a great collection of 10 tips to help you be more organised. My favourite is pictured above — using a peg board and pegs to store dishes you’re not using. Not only does it make retrieving them a lot easier, you can move the pegs around as your storage requirements change.
If the area beneath your sink is a mess of spray bottles, then you might want to think about installing a rod on which to hang them. It’ll likely require a bit of measuring, cutting and screwing, but it’s still a straightforward way to make use of all the vertical space.
