Google+ Edits Photos With Snapseed’s Powerful Tools

Chrome: Today, Google announced that it is integrating Snapseed’s collection of photo editing tools directly into Google+. Just click “Edit” while viewing your own photos and away you go. Neat!

Snapseed started as a really impressive iPad (and later Android) app, but this marks the first time the features — like control point-based adjustments, auto-enhance, and filters — are available on the desktop. The downside for some is that these features require Chrome. The app uses Native Client to work, so if you’re using Firefox or another browser, you’re out of luck on this one.
