Being an Android fan, I get the urge to buy an expensive, shiny new object roughly every three to six months. If you’re in the same boat, put a one month moratorium on that buying decision.

As tips blog Lifehack points out, taking a month can give you plenty of time to reconsider whether or not it’s something you really have a desire for:
When you think you want something, put it on the planner a month from now. When that month rolls around and you still want it, OK.
Of course, you can also use that month to save up for whatever it is you’re planning to get. If, in that amount of time, you decide you don’t really want it anymore, check it out! Extra savings!

B-b-b-b-but a month, when I can have it now! Gooses! Geeses! I want my Geese to lay gold eggs for Easter!
I do like the idea. ..but I can see the month wait just justifying the decision.
I want to buy myself a luxury watch for my 40th. I’m 37 now and I’m already saying just get it now…and I decided on 40 just to put it off buying it now.
Good timing for this article- nexus 5 is supposed to be available at the end of October 🙂
