123D Circuits Is A Free, Collaborative Electronics Design Tool

Designing electronics isn’t just about playing around with soldering irons. You need to prepare. Circuits.io is a design tool that let’s you plan out your projects, and now you can make use of a new tool called 123D Circuits.

123D Circuits is created by Circuits.io and Autodesk. It allows you to create a virtual environment using breadboards, Arduinos and plenty more. Then you can simulate the project right in your browser window. You can even work on the coding collaboratively like you would with Google Docs. The service is free for open-source designs, but you’ll need to pay a monthly fee to keep those designs private.
