Use A Crayon As An Emergency Candle

Use A Crayon As An Emergency Candle

Parents of young kids and other crayon owners: you have a survival tool on hand and probably don’t even know it. In an emergency, one crayon can burn brightly for about 15 to 30 minutes.

YouTube user North Carolina Prepper used a crayon as an emergency candle at a kid’s birthday party (I’m guessing the crayon wasn’t placed on top of the cake), but it’s good to know that if the Zombie Apocalypse ever hits, you have probably have a dozen or more “candles” at your disposal. You can keep your kids entertained, write waterproof messages, and have a source of light just by carrying around some crayons.
