iPhone docks and stands are usually a dime a dozen, but if you’re looking for something with a little more weight and a solid build quality, the Twelve South HiRise is worth a look.

On the surface, the HiRise is a simple little stand for your iPhone or iPad Mini. Once it’s set up, you can plop it on your desk and it looks great sitting there. Your headphone jack, speakers, and buttons are all readily available as well. What makes the HiRise interesting is the fact that you can adjust to all kinds of heights and it’s compatible with any device with a Lightning cable, so you’ll likely be able to use it for a long time. Unlike most stands, the HiRise also works with cases, so you don’t have to remove your case just to charge your phone.

It’s pricey at $US34.99 and shipping to Australia starts at around $US30, but the fact that you can adjust a lot things on the stand means it should be future-proof for new devices.
