Pushover Smart Notification System Gets A New Interface And Gestures

Android: Pushover is an awesome app with which you can create a smarter, seamless notification system for just about any application you can imagine. Today, Pushover updated its Android app with a number of handy new features.

Pushover’s notification system supports a lot of different apps, and its new interface makes browsing those apps a lot easier with its new slide-out menu. Tap on an app to see notifications from it, and tap on a notification for the new “Message View” where you can share or delete any individual notification.

Pushover has also added a few handy gestures, including swipe to delete and pull to refresh, two mainstays of modern Android apps. It will also sync notifications between devices, so if you dismiss a notification from one, it won’t appear on your other phones or tablets. Right now this update is for Android only, but these features should be headed to iOS soon.
