Don’t like cases on your phone but still want a built-in stand? One Instructables user shows off how to make his simple grip/stand made from a piece of vinyl.
The how-to guide requires a phone with a removable back plate (sorry HTC One owners). The end result is a thick piece of clear vinyl coming out of the back of your phone. You can use this to keep a solid grip — you know, if your phone is too thin and light to even hold — or you can use it to mount your phone in the opening of a car CD player or air vent, or even prop it up as a desk stand.
