Giphy Embeds GIFs On Facebook, Is Mankind’s Greatest Achievement

Giphy Embeds GIFs On Facebook, Is Mankind’s Greatest Achievement

When a simple photo doesn’t cut it, you need an animated GIF. Giphy, the GIF search engine, can now embed GIFs on Facebook.

The process is very simple, though it isn’t exactly intuitive. To embed a GIF on Facebook:

  1. Head to Giphy and find the GIF you want to share (it must come from Giphy’s site)
  2. Under the GIF, find the “Share GIF” link. Highlight it and copy it.
  3. Paste that link into a Facebook status, and it will embed just like a YouTube video.

That’s it! When your friends see it, they’ll have to click on it to see the full GIF. Now go forth and GIF all your friends.
