Apple’s refurb store can be the cheapest way to buy its products, especially if you don’t want the absolute newest models. Good-value deals tend to be up one minute and gone the next, though. Enter the Apple Refurbished Stock Checker.

Created by developer Guillaume Boudreau, the Apple Refurbished Stock Checker is a very simple service that monitors the product you’re interested in and emails you when it’s available refurbished from Apple. Enter your email address, choose your product, and you’re set.
The service is much more basic than previously mentioned RefurbMe, but there’s no reason you can’t use both in tandem. Like RefurbMe, the service covers the Australian store, though the list of items it tracks is smaller than for other countries.
