Freeze Fruit On A Baking Pan First To Keep It From Sticking Together

Freezing fruit is a great way to keep it fresh if you’re heading away for a few days or have an excessive stockpile from your own garden. However, if you simply toss it all in a freezer bag though, pieces of fruit will stick together in an annoying clump. Here’s an easy way to avoid the frozen mass.

Emma Christensen at The Kitchn explains that you should freeze your fruit first on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once everything has frozen completely solid, you can transfer it to a freezer bag. Since any liquids in the fruit will have already frozen, the pieces won’t freeze together in the bag.
