Garden hoses are often a nightmare to keep organised. You can keep them nicely coiled against a wall by mounting a large bucket sideways in your garage.
Obviously, there are plenty of commercially-available options for hose storage that include handles, and might be a little easier to use. This tip has the advantage of being incredibly cheap, and it even utilises the interior of the bucket as a makeshift shelf to hold sprinklers and other hose accessories. If you don’t want to commit to sticking a bucket on your wall, just setting it by your spigot and coiling the hose inside is better than leaving it strewn about.
