Show Off Your Wine With A Pallet

Show Off Your Wine With A Pallet

If you keep a nice wine collection at your house, reconditioning an old pallet can give you a surprisingly nice tool to display your best bottles.

The project isn’t too complicated; basically you’re cutting off a section of the pallet to hold the wine, and adding some U-shaped glass holders underneath. You’ll need a jigsaw and some other tools, but it’s pretty much Design and Technology 101. The final product should hold at least five bottles of wine comfortably and dangle your glasses attractively below for easy access during dinner parties.

As with any pallet project, be sure you’re sourcing the right materials and taking it apart properly. A belt sander might come in handy too if the wood is splintery. Check out the source link for a complete tutorial.
