We're all prone to the type of introspection that leads to the big question of why? But as The Oatmeal points out in its comic about running, sometimes the why isn't the most useful question to ask.
"I've always considered the question to be 'Why am I alive? Why am I here? What's the point of me?' and to that I say: Who cares! Forget the why." — The Oatmeal.
In fact, if we really want clarity, we might need to find that void where the question of "why?" disappears altogether for a few moments.
