Ding Combines Reminders And Events Into A Good-Looking Interface

iOS: Your iPhone’s built-in reminders app is functional but uninspiring, and if you don’t keep up with the calendar app, you might miss an appointment. Ding is a to-do app that combines your reminders, appointments and events into one sharp-looking interface that’s easy to use.

Since Ding combines events and reminders, you can also add appointments to your calendar from inside the app, check off to-dos that you’ve completed, and add new items you want to remember. You can colour-code your to-dos and events by category (such as home, work and family or priority (important, everyday, and so on).

Every item that has a date and time associated with it has the due date and time right next to the title, and everything is arranged in chronological order, so you can see your appointments and meetings side by side with your other to-dos. That makes it easy to find time to do things — you can tell at a glance when you have time to work, and when your calendar is blocked off. The app also features alerts, push notifications and recurring to-dos and reminders for any item or event.

Finally, since the app syncs with Reminders and Calendar, you don’t have to import anything or re-add your to-dos and events. Just open the app and everything will roll in.
