Many users are having trouble logging into Falcon Pro because of Twitter’s “token limits”. Now, there’s a little cheat code in the app that works around that problem.
Falcon Pro, our favourite Twitter client for Android, has been surrounded in drama recently. Twitter started limiting how many users an app can have, Falcon Pro tried to get around it, got booted from the Play Store, while a lot of users still can’t use the app. If you can’t log in because of the Twitter limit, there’s now a way in.
The trick was announced by developer Joaquim Verges and posted to Google+ by user Fernando González. Just download the latest version of Falcon Pro here, then go to the login screen and:
- Press the Falcon logo, then press the corners of the screen until all squares are on, then turn off the orange one.
- Shake your phone.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
This essentially registers a new, fake Twitter app that allows you the tokens to log into Twitter via Falcon Pro. We’re sure Twitter will shut this down when they find out, but for now, it’s a handy workaround if you can’t get Falcon Pro working. Hit the links below for more.

One response to “Bypass Falcon Pro’s Twitter Token Limit With This ‘Cheat Code’”
There’s no way for Twitter to shut it down without shutting down all third-party apps. They have no way of telling who’s using a legitimate app or who’s using Falcon Pro this way.
Where did you hear the app was booted from the Play Store? Joaquim posted on G+ that he removed the app himself.
