The Bright Basement Workspace

Today’s featured workspace is situated in a basement, but you probably wouldn’t know that just by looking at the space. With a bright green wall, white cabinetry and spacious work surfaces, the room is as inviting and vibrant as offices above ground.

I like to have things clean and neat for design. More modern. I painted the dreaded basement paneling white all over, and hit the one wall with a splash of colour. The upper cabinets and counter help offset the brightness. I also bought some fabric to cover up some other spaces in the room with pattern. It’s underneath the dry erase board and covers up a closet which I chose not to display in the photos.

Behind the two-person workspace is a comfortable seating area, where his dog stretches out on the loveseat. You can see more shots of this basement office in the Flickr link below.
