Maintain An Easy 'Holiday Beard' With Three Quick Steps

Nobody wants to take the time to shave every single morning when they're on holiday. The easiest way to solve this problem is with light maintenance, and the stylists over at Birchbox put together the above video guide for keeping your beard from getting out of hand without too much work.

The idea is to make shaving on holiday as simple as possible. In this case, it's a three-step process:

  1. Day 1: Start clean-shaven.
  2. Day 3: Clean up your neck with a razor.
  3. Day 6: Give your beard a buzz for length, and then go a little shorter on the moustache.

With just two quick shaves across the week you'll be able to keep yourself looking presentable without a lot of work.

that's been my beard for quite some time now, except the clean shaven part ;) 5mm trim on the beard, mustache and hair (or what's left of it anyway) and Bob's your uncle

Bob is not my fricken uncle.

    Just grow a beard?

    I may be biased though.....

I grew a beard about 18 months ago after a week off. Since then I've saved around $100 in razors (four packs) and around 32 hours in shaving (assuming 8 mins every day before and now 4 mins once a week, plus a 5 min trim per week).

That's 4 night's sleep! If only I'd actually used the time for sleep...

minus the time you spend stroking ur beard..... ;)
