Instagram Can Now Record 15-Second Video Clips With Special Filters

iOS/Android: Instagram is one of the most popular photo-sharing sites. Today, the company announced Video on Instagram. It’s essentially a Vine-like app for sharing quick video clips and adding filters to them in typical Instagram style.

As with photos, the purpose of the app is to record and share everyday moments you might otherwise forget. You can edit the video clip by clip, stabilise video via the Cinema feature (solving the problem of shaky photos when running with your phone), and add one of 13 video-specific filters. Videos you take show up in your feed and are accessible on your online Instagram profile in addition to in the mobile apps.

Instagram version 4.0 is available on Google Play and the iTunes App Store now.
