The Raspberry Pi Camera Board Turns Your Pi Into A Custom Camera

The Raspberry Pi Camera Board Turns Your Pi Into A Custom Camera

The Raspberry Pi Camera Module is now available for order. The add-on module adds a 5 megapixel camera to your Pi for use in all sorts of projects.

As you’d expect, the camera is pretty simple. It can take static images in a resolution up to 2592 by 1944, and video in 1080p or 720p. As with any Raspberry Pi project, what you do with it from there is totally up to you, but considering you’re essentially making your own camera with a built-in operating system, the possibilities are endless.

Like the Raspberry Pi when it was initially released, the Camera Board is in a bit of limited supply so grab it while you can from the online store.
