Generally speaking, ultra-cheap DIY projects don’t look great. Somehow instructables user maybolicious figured out how to circumvent that unfortunate downside and create a stylish LED lamp for only $US3.25.
All you need are some laths, 12 white LEDs, resistors, a power jack and a switch to make this lamp. These parts total just a little over three bucks. For tools, you’ll need a drill, drill bits, a saw, a mitre, sandpaper and paint. From there it’s just following instructions and putting it all together. In the end you get a really nice-looking lamp on the cheap.
