Laptop docks generally don’t come cheap — especially when you have a Mac. DIY enthusiast Johan Frick put together a simple docking solution with the necessary cables and a little bit of Sugru, saving lots of money in the process.
As you can see from the video above, the process is relatively simple. Just plug in all the cables you want to connect, surround them with a healthy amount of Sugru (carefully, so as not to get any on your MacBook), smooth it out, and let it dry. When you’re done, you have a dock!
