iiNet Retools Business SIM Plans With 4G And Fleet Calling

Internet service provider iiNet has introduced fleet calling and 4G capabilities to its contract-free SIM plans for business customers. The new plans, which include unlimited mobile calls between staff on the same fleet, now start at $14.95 per month.

iiNet’s new 4G fleet plans have been primarily designed for SMB customers that need to stay connected while doing business on the go. All mobile calls within a customer’s fleet are included in the new plans along with free voicemail and data allowances which range from 200MB to 5GB.

The plans are not saddled to a lock-in contract (other than the requisite business internet bundle) and can be purchased as SIM-only plans or with a range of Samsung handsets including the Galaxy S4 and Note II.

“These plans are designed to be simple to understand but most importantly, give business customers the ability to control costs,” said iiNet Chief Business Officer, Greg Bader.

“With faster mobile access on the 4G mobile network and the new Samsung 4G-ready mobile handsets, iiNet can offer a host of opportunities to help our customers be innovative in the way they manage and grow their business.”

Existing iiNet customers on business SIM plans may have noticed some slight adjustments to credit allowances in the above table — the entry-level plan has shaved $25 off included calls, for example, while the $49 a month plan has added an extra $40 worth of calls per month. On the plus side, SMS messages are no longer charged as part of a calls allowance.
