BirdDrop Puts Twitter In Your Mac Menubar

BirdDrop Puts Twitter In Your Mac Menubar

Mac: Much as Facebox does for Facebook, BirdDrop puts Twitter in your Mac menubar for quick and easy access so you can read, compose and respond to tweets without the need for a separate app.

Download BirdDrop for free, drop it in your applications folder, and open it up to see the familiar Twitter bird in your menubar. From there just click it, log in, and you’ll have access to Twitter anytime. BirdDrop utilises a mobile version of Twitter’s web sites with some alterations. Some may find this limiting, but others might appreciate the simplification of Twitter’s desktop interface (as well as a lack of heavy JavaScript).
