Roll Your Own Custom Mousepad With A Desk Pad And Wrapping Paper

If your workspace feels a little bland, you can liven it up with a completely customisable desk pad that works great with your mouse.

Aly at A Little Tipsy came up with this clever idea. All you need is a cheap transparent desk pad, some spray adhesive and the wallpaper of your choice. Just spray a little adhesive to the bottom of the pad, carefully roll the wallpaper on so it’s visible on the other side through the pad, and trim the corners with a Stanley knife. If you want to get really personal, you could do the same thing with a photo collage, newspaper clippings, or anything other printed materials. Once it’s dry, you’ll have a functional and personal accent for your desk.

A quick word of caution if you live in a warm climate. Gregory Han at Apartment Therapy found that the paper on his custom desk pad started to curl during the summer due to heat, but he managed to fix this by adding a layer of cork drawer liner to the bottom for support.
