How Much Do You Care About Your Online Privacy?

We talk a lot about online privacy here, but sometimes we'll sacrifice that privacy in order to get a good deal. How much do you care about your online privacy?

A recent New York Times article digs into how willing we are to hand over our data if we have something to gain from it (like a shopping deal) or when we're just too distracted to care. In the end, most of us reveal private information without really noticing we do it. Of course, we know why we should care about online privacy, but how much do you actually care about your online privacy?

Comments

I tend to skip between the two camps of caring and not caring.

On my hand, I don't care about giving out my name and email address to sign up for whatever it may be, on the other, I always have ghostly installed to block tracking cookies.

    Go figure?
