Build Your Own Long-Armed, Reusable Duster

Build Your Own Long-Armed, Reusable Duster

Dusting is nobody’s favourite chore, but you can make it a lot easier with this DIY duster. You will need a sewing machine for this project, but the rest of the materials are cheap and easy to find.

You can read the full tutorial over at 3191 Miles Apart, but you’re basically going to sew a lot of wool strips perpendicular across the back of a strip of velcro, then glue the other half of the velcro around the end of a long dowel rod. Once you’re done, you can stick the dusting pad on the end of the dowel rod to reach your ceiling fan, picture frames, and even under furniture, then rip it off and throw it in the washing machine when you’re done.
