AWS Adds Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4

Amazon Web Services had added Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4 to its list of supported Amazon Machine Images (AMI). The release, which is available in all Amazon regions, comes two months after Red Hat released 6.4 to its existing customers.

As with previous RHEL Hat releases on Amazon, you can either pay-as-you-go or take advantage of existing RHEL corporate subscriptions. Pricing for a standard on-demand instance in the Sydney AWS centre starts from $0.14 an hour. AWS also offers access to versions as far back as 5.5.
