System Center Advisor Provides Free Server Configuration Advice

Want to avoid potential performance issues due to bad server configuration on a Windows system? System Center Advisor is a cloud-based service which provides proactive alerts for potentially messy configurations. Advisor was previously only available to customers with a Software Assurance contract, but is now free to any user.

System Center Advisor uses an agent to collect information about your network then sends it to an online analysis service. If problems are detected, you’ll be sent an alert. Right now, it works on Windows Server 2008 and on SharePoint, Exchange and Lync 2010; support for Windows Server 2012 is apparently in the works.

System Center Advisor is now a FREE service! [System Center: Operations Manager Engineering Blog]
