    Resolution counts, too. My 24" Dell is 1920x1200 WUXGA - better than HD.

        I'm running a 2560x1440 27" IPS panel and it's awesome. Although it is a little harder for my GPU to drive compared to my old 1080p screen.

        I think you mean 2540x1600.

          No... he doesn't. If anything 1440 vert panels have become far more common with the 1600's being mainly tied to ultra high end graphics design monitors.
