Spotify For iOS Updates With A New Look And New Features

iOS: Streaming music service Spotify has updated its iPhone app overnight. The interface has been overhauled and adds a now-playing bar and track menus.

The new look comes in the form of a new sidebar where you’ll find all your settings, the radio station button and playlists. There is also a “now playing” bar that displays at the bottom of the screen no matter where you are in the app. It shows the artist and track playing, along with play and pause controls. Swiping left or right on the bar skips tracks. You can also now hit the “…” button to start a radio station based on an album, star tracks, save it to a playlist or share the album on social networks.
