PhraseExpress, our favourite text expander for Windows, has a new feature that syncs your snippets with other text expansion programs. It's not "official" yet, but if you download the latest version of PhraseExpress, you can enable it with a command line parameter.
Just create a shortcut to PhraseExpress on your desktop (or wherever), right-click on it, and choose Properties. Add
-sfp to the end of the "Path" line, click OK and launch PhraseExpress.
When you open the program window, you should see it scan folders like Dropbox and Google Drive for compatible settings files. PhraseExpress uses the TextExpander format to sync, so you can sync with TextExpander on the Mac or any other program — like Breevy — that uses the TextExpander format. PhraseExpress will then sync changes to and from the other text expansion programs and computers you use. Check out the video above to see it in action.
