Colornote Notepad Puts Notes And Tasks On Your Home Screen

Android: There are plenty of note-taking apps for Android, but Colornote Notepad has a few features you will hard-pressed to find elsewhere. You can put your notes on your home screen as widgets for easy access, and you can use those widgets to cross items off without leaving your home screen.

Colornote is a simple, colour-coded note-taking app that also uses sticky note style homescreen widgets to give you quick access. You take your notes on a stylised notepad, and you can organise them by colour and category so they stand out.

You can also assign your notes due dates so they land on your calendar, and you can add your notes on your phone’s home screen like sticky notes so you can open them with a tap or cross items off quickly.

While it lacks some of the features of our favourite syncing note takers, it takes your notes and organises them for free. You can sync your notes between Android devices or to the developer’s servers if you choose, but it’s not required. It’s available now at Google Play.
