Bookish Combines Reviews And Themes To Recommend Books

Finding a new book to read can be tough. While some booksellers have good recommendation services, it’s not always enough. Bookish is a site that allows you to find better recommendations, as well as curated lists and critic reviews all in one place.

Bookish ends up being something of a combination of Goodreads and Amazon. You can sign up for the service and create a bookshelf, make lists and get recommendations.

The recommendation feature is particularly interesting: type in up to four of your favourite books, and Bookish offers up suggestions based on what you like. It’s surprisingly accurate, and it’s different from sites like Amazon, because Bookish concentrates more on themes and motifs than simply looking at what other people have purchased.

If you’re an avid reader, Bookish is a great site to keep in your discovery toolkit.
