aText For Mac Can Now Sync Text Expansion Snippets

Our favourite text expansion app for Mac, aText, has just been updated. You can now enable sync your snippets so you can use them across computers.

Despite the price, Text Expander always had a leg up on aText because of its syncing features. Now that aText can sync via several services (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive), it's on par feature-for-feature with Text Expander, and it costs a fraction of the price.

I recently set up two MacBook machines with aText synchronization. The files are backed up to Dropbox, but the new machine does not reflect the new data automatically. I am forced to use the Restore option and click on the latest synchronization file to restore the data.

Why isn't this automatic? Can I change the backup rates from Hourly to seconds or minutes?
