Painlessly Remove Stings With A Credit Card

Getting stung by a bee or wasp isn’t fun, but you can lessen the severity of the pain by removing the sting with a credit card rather than with tweezers.

Tweezers are commonly used for removing sting, but what many people don’t know is that using tweezers will squeeze any remaining venom that’s left in the venom sac into the skin. This causes even more pain and swelling.

Instead of using tweezers, take a credit card (or any hard plastic card) and scrape the surface of the skin with its edge. The stinger will catch onto the edge and gently lift out of your skin.
