Ibuprofen Liquid Gel Capsules Can Help Prevent Acne Breakouts

If you're having acne issues and don't have a specific medication handy, you might consider breaking open a standard ibuprofen liquid gel capsule and gently rubbing the liquid onto the affected area.

The Beauty & Style section at the iVillage weblog shares that this tip works well when you notice a pimple rearing its ugly head away from home. Acme.org, the largest community dedicated to acne relief, has noted that several users have reported success using this method. Several users at Acme.org have noticed that it reduces the redness and irritation of an acne breakout almost immediately and that Japan has an ibuprofen gel specifically for acne relief.

This seems like a good reason to keep a few packets of gel capsules in your go-bag or purse.

    It's = it is
    Its = belonging to someone or something

    You're welcome, 'journalist'.

      The apostrophe is a sign off ownership, correct? So if it's Malcolm's, Dick's or Harry's... why not if "it” owns it, it is "it's" whatever. The teachers never explained that one to me... maybe you can help...

        And no BS, "it is because it is.." or " that's the rules". Explain it.

          'Its' is a possessive determiner, just like 'his', 'her', or 'my'. In this case it's not just a simple sign of ownership, so it would appear strange for it to be the only word in this possessive determiner group with an apostrophe.

          Of course, it's also likely that whoever came up with these grammatical rules just wanted to be an a-hole and peeve us all off :)

    You can get ibuprofen in a topical gel (not labelled for acne, but really)...

    I'm much more likely to have eight different options for acne treatment than I am the more expensive liquid nurofen caps! And surely most homes have a bottle of tea tree oil somewhere, cheap and easily acquired from your local grocery store?
