Ebook Glue Transforms Blogs Into Ebooks

When I find a really interesting new blog, I often find myself wanting to read six months or more of postings at a time. With Ebook Glue I can catch up on these blogs from my ebook reader.

The webapp takes an RSS feed, Atom feed or URL and converts the blog into an ePub or Mobi file. You are prompted to download this file and also receive a link that you can send to friends. I tested it out with both Lifehacker and Root Simple, one of my favourite gardening and homesteading weblogs.

The app works better with sites that publish full posts in their RSS feed (and yes, Lifehacker is not one of them). This app isn’t so great for daily reading of your favourite blogs but excels in those situations where you find a good blog with 25-100 posts and you’d like to read all the posts.

The webapp let me do two conversions without signing up for a free account. All in all it’s a simple webapp that works well for its intended purpose.
