Turn A Milk Bottle Into An Emergency Dustpan

Just broke a glass and don’t have a dustpan on hand? You can make a quick one by cutting an empty milk bottle into a suitable shape.

All you need to do is remove the bottom of the bottle at an angle, so you have room to sweep in the debris. It isn’t as effective as a real dustpan, but it should work in an emergency. A larger three-litre bottle will be more effective than smaller sizes. Hit the link to see more, including a similar approach with a soft-drink bottle.
