Today's featured workspace is one of the most amazing DIY desk/computer builds we've seen in a long time. Dubbed "The Next Level" by maker Pascal de Greef, this desk not only changes from a sitting to a standing desk with a touch of a button, it also moves the attached monitors similarly, and the PC is built into the desk.
In two long pages on the Cooler Master Forum, Pascal describes the project from design to finish with detailed photos. The lifting columns come from Linak, but Pascal constructed the entire desk -- welding and bending the aluminium frame and carving out the wood top. An aquareo cooling system, the motherboard, and other PC parts are tucked in the top of the desk.
Obviously only a master tradesman could pull this off, but it sure is impressive. Here's a video of it in action, but if you like looking at "metal fabrication porn" (Hack A Day's description), head over to the Cooler Master Forum posts.
If you have a workspace of your own to show off, post them to #workspaceshowcase. Make sure any photos you include are at least 640x360. Keeping them to 16:9 helps, too! Include a little text about the stuff you used, how you came up with the design, and any other relevant details. If your clever organisation and good design sense catches our eye, you might be the next featured workspace.
