Google Calendar On Android Updates With Better Notifications

Android: The latest update to Google Calendar brings several handy new features. From your Android device’s notification bar, you can now quickly call a phone number or look up an event location on Google Maps. Also, creating events is easier and quicker to do.

From the monthly view, all you have to do to enter an event is long-press on a date. As you fill out the details for the event, Google Calendar will start filling in or suggest locations based on your contacts and previous locations in the calendar.

You can grab the update now from the Google Play store.
