Gmail For Android Adds Pinch To Zoom

Android users should find a handy update in Google Play today. The Android Gmail client now offers new features including support for pinch to zoom and swipe to archive or delete.

Gmail’s full list of updates includes:

  • Auto-fit messages to screen and message zooming
  • Swipe messages to archive or delete
  • Attach photos and videos from within Gmail
  • Larger photo previews and gallery view for photo attachments
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

The update works for Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean devices; users on older Android systems only get performance improvements. Hit the link to check out the update at Google Play.
