Facebook For iOS Brings More Speed, Better Photo-Uploading

iOS: Facebook has updated its iPhone and iPad app with some speed improvements, as well as the new ability to choose an album when you’re uploading a photo.

The most obvious change is the fact you can now select an album when you’re uploading photos so you don’t have to go back in with your web browser later to tidy everything up. When you’re uploading a picture, just tap the book icon next to the camera to select an album. Otherwise, the speed improvements come in two forms: the news feed loads a bit faster and the completely rebuilt timeline opens a lot more quickly. The speed improvements aren’t as significant as the Android update yesterday, but it’s still noticeably faster.
