Drag And Drop Songs Into iTunes 11’s ‘Up Next’ Queue

We’ve talked about iTunes 11 and its awesome new features, and we’re particularly loving its “Up Next” queue. Here’s an easier way to add songs to the queue.

We’ve mentioned that you can right-click an album, artist, or song and add it to your Up Next queue, but iTunes has multiple ways to perform the same thing. You can drag any album, artist, song or playlist to the “Now Playing” display at the top of the iTunes window, and it will add them to your Up Next queue. This is particularly handy for adding playlists, since you can’t right-click on a playlist and add it to Up Next.
