Briefly: Foxtel Go Adds Channels, NetBank Selling Phone Recharges

Brief news items of note for Lifehacker readers, including more live channels for Foxtel Go and phone recharges on sale through the Commonwealth Bank’s NetBank.

  • Foxtel has added eight new streaming channels to its Foxtel Go tablet app. FOX8, SoHo, LifeStyle You, LifeStyle Food, LifeStyle HOME, FUEL TV, SPEED and Discovery Turbo MAX join the lineup, making 30 live channels in total. You still need to have a regular Foxtel subscription to use it, unfortunately.
  • Commonwealth Bank NetBank customers can now purchase Telstra, Optus and Vodafone recharges through the site. Saves using a credit card or finding a retailer selling recharges.
  • JB Hi-Fi is now selling unlocked iPhone 5 models, joining Dick Smith and Apple itself in offering the unlocked device. Clearly Apple doesn’t want Android stealing all the retail action as Christmas approaches.
