Attach An Empty Tissue Box To A Full One For A Built-In Disposal Solution

Sure it's easy to be sick and hygienic when you're at your desk, but if you're camped out on your couch or bed you might be tempted to just pile up used tissues to toss away later. Do away with that lazy and somewhat icky impulse by attaching an empty tissue box to a full one — this gives you an easy place to put your used tissues wherever you happen to be.

Parenting weblog MeckMom suggested this tip after the majority of the author's family of seven came down with the same cold and left used tissues all over the house. If you don't already have an empty tissue box to attach just open the bottom of a new box, remove the tissues and use those for a refill. If you have a stuffy and/or runny nose I'm sure you'll need that refill soon enough.

or you know.... you could walk to the bin or put the tissue box near the bin, that's actually rather gross, peoples snotty tissues near the nice clean ones? no way

My thoughts exactly, a box of disease ridden tissues sitting right next to a clean one, Blechh!
Disgusting. Not a bad idea though if you're sick in bed.!

i have a bin near my bed, so that's what i would put the tissues in, not a box besides the clean tissues, ain't never doing that
