Facebook tells you one of your friends is celebrating a birthday today. You can write on his or her wall, like everyone else, or go the extra mile and send ’em a gift card. With Wrapp, you don’t even have to pay for the gift card.
This social gifting service offers free gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $25 for retailers such as Ben Sherman, La Senza, Speedo and Industrie. The free gift cards expire in 30 days, but if you increase the gift card amount or buy a paid gift card, there’s no expiration date.
Although there are only about two dozen free and paid gift cards you can send right now, it’s still an easy way to show someone on Facebook you’re thinking of them. You can see at a glance in the web app (also available on Android and iPhone) which friends have birthdays coming up, but you can also send a gift card to someone just because. Wrapp will also store the gift cards you get from friends in its webapp or mobile apps.
