Enable Spotify’s New Web Player Right Now

Spotify announced its new web player yesterday, but it’s rolling out a beta slowly to select users. If you want to enable it now, tech blog Ghacks shows you how.

To enable the web based player, you have to be signed into Facebook and have your Spotify account linked to it. First, you can check if you already have access on the Spotify site, and if not, simply follow this link on Facebook to enable the player. It looks like the (possible) loophole goes through a status update from the band Cazzette’s Facebook page, so it’s unclear how long this will work for. That said, if you want to check out the web based Spotify player, it’s working as of right now. Head over to Ghacks for the full rundown of what you’ll find.
