Briefly: WatchNow Finally On Xbox, Cheap Facebook Cards

Brief news items of note for Lifehacker readers, including Quickflix Watchnow finally reaching the Xbox and discounted Facebook cards at 7-Eleven.

  • Quickflix first announced that its WatchNow streaming service was coming to Xbox 360 back in April. We’ve had a few false starts since then, but the service finally went live today. The app is available to Xbox Live Gold customers (you’ll also have to pay WatchNow fees of $14.99 a month after the 14-day trial period).
  • Google has launched an online web app which lets you create a shortlist of potential purchases. You can keep any product URL you find in the system; unfortunately the integrated Google Shopping search appears hard-coded to the US shopping site and doesn’t produce Australian results.
  • Addicted to Facebook games and saving money? 7-Eleven has 25 per cent off Facebook gift cards this week. [via OzBargain]
